Following her electric set at El Mocambo in Toronto last night, Jules is thrilled to announce the release of her anthemic single ‘Music Man’ which premiered via Canadian Beats this morning and can be streamed everywhere here.

Music Man is a pop-rock hype song for all independent artists who are tired of feeling like they don’t fit in the magical box set out by the music industry. It’s about trusting in your art, your vision, and having the authority to set out and go about creating music your own way.

Jules exudes confidence through her powerful vocals, while infusing the raw, edgy approach she’s well known for, Music Man is an impressive follow up to her Top 40 hit ‘Before You Picked Her’.

“We are constantly listening to the ‘music man’ to tell us if we are cool enough, skinny enough, edgy enough and overall just good enough,” expressed Jules. “This makes us question ourselves. I trust myself, my mind and my creativity 1000 times over.”

Jules is back and better than ever. While she captured the attention of the Canadian music industry in 2018 with her SOCAN and Top 40 chart topping hit ‘Before You Picked Her’, she has honed her skills throughout the pandemic and is gearing up to release her most personal work yet. Jules is prepared to take the industry by storm with her indie pop-rock anthems brimming with raw emotion and bold production, she’s a 2023 artist to watch!

Previous releases have found Jules recording with some of Canada’s finest in the industry such as producer Brian Moncarz (The Tea Party, Our Lady Peace), Dunkin Coutts (Our Lady Peace), Jason Pierce, (Our Lady Peace, Treble Charger), and Ben Healy. Early on in her career, Jules won a scholarship to attend the Berklee School of Music summer program, which catapulted her love for the art of creating music. FYI Music News expressed that Jules “has poise, a storyline that’s Shakespearian”, while Canadian Beats dubbed her as “an artist to watch”.
